STEAMShalom Robot Lab Policies

Enrollment & Payment

Enrollment is confirmed once the registration form is submitted and tuition is paid. Space is limited to keep the class small and hands-on.

Attendance & Makeups

Tuition reserves your child’s spot for the full 6-week session, so we can’t offer refunds for missed classes. If your child misses a class, we’ll help them catch up with a quick recap and a starter template. We may offer one make-up option when possible.

Waitlist

If a session is full, families may join the waitlist. If there is enough interest, we may open an additional section (schedule dependent). Waitlisted families will be contacted in the order they join.

Student Pairing

Students work in pairs and rotate roles during class. Pairings may be adjusted to support learning, teamwork, and a positive classroom environment.

Behavior & Safety

Robotics involves moving parts and shared equipment. Students are expected to follow safety rules, listen to instructions, and treat classmates and equipment respectfully. If a student cannot participate safely, a parent/guardian may be contacted for early pick-up.

Drop-Off & Pick-Up

Please arrive on time. For safety, students must be picked up promptly at the end of class.

Photo Policy 

Photos may be taken during class for SteamShalom updates. We will only use photos of your child if you give permission during registration.
