Beginner Robotics and Coding Course
A 6-week beginner robotics course using mBots + block coding (mBlock).
Students learn to code and control mBots through hands-on challenges. We build core skills like sequencing, loops, and IF/THEN logic and then apply them using real sensors like line-following and obstacle avoidance. Students work in pairs with rotating roles so everyone gets coding time, hands-on robot time, and practice debugging. The final class includes a short parent mini showcase and certificates.
No internet used (coding is done offline). All equipment provided.
By the end of the 6 weeks, students will be able to:
Connect and program an mBot using block coding (mBlock)
Control movement using speed, time, and turns
Create sequences and loops (repeat patterns)
Use IF/THEN logic to make decisions
Program sensors (line-following and obstacle avoidance)
Practice real debugging skills: test → change one thing → test again
When:
Sunday 10:00-11:00 AM (Girls ages 8-10)

If a session is full, please join the waitlist. If we reach a minimum number of interested students for an additional time slot, we may open a second section. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee a spot, but it ensures you’ll be contacted first if we add a new section or if a spot opens.
